Between The Lines

ISTD

Between the Lines is a typographic exploration of New York City’s cultural and musical milestones, created for the ISTD brief.

Framed by the use of Helvetica and inspired by the city’s subway system, the book traces key decades, from 1970s Bronx hip-hop to Brooklyn’s 2000s indie scene.

The project captures the identity of each borough through expressive typography, layered textures, and a nod to DIY culture.
